Where are the shoes made?
Frankie Lynn makes all the shoes by hand herself in her home studio in Rugby, Warwickshire (UK).

Do you make the shoes from Scratch?
Frankie Lynn makes a variety of shoe options depending on the needs of the order. Some designs use a canvas base which is then 'upholstered' in new upper fabric and trim, some customers prefer to provide their own shoes to be 'up cycled' and some designs are made completely from scratch right from the pattern making through to fabrication. 

How do I order 'custom made shoes'?
If you would like to order a 'custom made' item such as bespoke shoes, then please first contact Frankie Lynn by emailing; msfrankie.lynn@gmail.com.
Before receiving a quotation for your bespoke item, you will need to ensure we have the following information;
  • Details of your design including colours, fabric preferences and special features.
  • Details of size requirements
  • Approximate time frame for when you would like to receive your order
Once Frankie Lynn has received all the required details, you will then be provided with a quotation and details of lead times etc. The order will be started on completion of payment.

Can I provide a pair of shoes to be customized?
Of course! Up-cycling is something Frankie Lynn does on a regular basis so if you would prefer to have an existing pair of shoes transformed then Frankie would be more than happy to do this for you. Prices may vary according to design specifications but as a general guideline, the price to upcycle a pair of shoes is approximately £80

What are the lead times for custom made items?
Lead times will vary depending on the design requirements of each order. Items that require supplies to be imported will take longer whilst Frankie waits for the materials to arrive in the workshop.
As a general guideline, please allow 3-4 weeks for items to completed.

Can I pay for my custom shoes in installments?
Yes! If it is more manageable for you to pay for your items by installments then Frankie would be happy to assist. In order to secure an order, a minimum of 25% of the full amount must be paid in advance (in order to cover material costs). Frankie will then supply you with a full invoice that includes a breakdown of future payments (of either 2 or 4 installments) and agreed dates by which they will be paid. Please advise Frankie that you wish to pay by installments when you place your enquiry.
Please note, as soon as the work commences for a custom order then the full amount will be payable.

Are there any other custom made items other than shoes?
Yes! Frankie also makes head wear and jewellery items upon request so if you have anything specific in mind then please contact her for a design and quotation.

What payment methods do you accept?
The Frankie Lynn Emporium uses Sage Pay to process all payments securely. All payments are to be made using either a credit or debit card. The Emporium accepts Visa, Mastercard or Maestro. Payment methods for bespoke items may differ. for custom orders, the preferred method is either directly through the website or via Paypal. Details on how you can make payments for bespoke orders are provided with your quotation.

How secure is my online order?
At the Frankie Lynn Emporium all payments are processed by Sage Pay.

You shall receive an email notification of confirmation of your order shortly after you have completed you online payment.

If my goods are faulty or damaged, can I return them?
Frankie Lynn operates a 'no returns' policy. However, if you find that your items are either faulty or damaged, then please contact Frankie Lynn via: msfrankie.lynn@gmail.com to arrange return.
